Business of Photography

To grow my business, I would make flyers and create a social media page specifically for my business. This would help me attract many clients and get my business out there.

I would have different sets of packages so prices would vary although I would want to make my work pricier because of the quality of my work.

In a contract I would include a cancellation fee, a no-show fee, and they would need to sign it to approve of my rules. I could only do so much at one time, and I would not tolerate disrespectful clients.

500 Word Essay on Daniel Ernst

Daniel Ernst is a contemporary photographer known for his stunning depictions of nature, where he captures the profound beauty of the natural world. His work merges the technical precision of photography with the emotional depth of nature, resulting in images that not only showcase the natural world but evoke a sense of awe and reflection. Through his lens, Daniel Ernst explores the intricate details of landscapes, wildlife, and plant life, aiming to foster a deeper appreciation for the environment and the need for its conservation.

Ernst’s approach to nature photography is characterized by patience, attention to detail, and a deep connection to the subjects he photographs. His work often focuses on the subtle nuances of the natural world—whether it’s the way light dances on a dewdrop, the textures of bark, or the fleeting motion of an animal in its habitat. This close observation allows him to produce images that capture the essence of nature in a way that might otherwise be overlooked by the casual observer.

A hallmark of Ernst’s photography is his ability to blend technical skill with artistic vision. He uses a combination of natural lighting, composition, and timing to create photographs that feel both serene and dynamic. His photos often reflect a sense of stillness, yet they convey a profound connection between the viewer and the natural world. Whether photographing a towering mountain range or the delicate petals of a flower, Ernst’s images are characterized by their clarity and richness, immersing the viewer in the scene as though they are standing right there in nature’s presence.

One of the most striking aspects of Daniel Ernst’s work is his ability to evoke emotion through his photos. His images often carry an element of storytelling, whether it’s the subtle tension in the eyes of a wild animal or the quiet solitude of a secluded forest. Ernst’s photographs challenge the viewer to see nature not as a backdrop but as a living, breathing entity with its own narrative. By focusing on the intricate details of nature and presenting them in a way that emphasizes their beauty and fragility, Ernst encourages viewers to reflect on their relationship with the environment and the importance of preserving it.

Another significant aspect of Ernst’s work is his commitment to conservation. Through his photography, he hopes to raise awareness about the environmental challenges facing the world today. His nature photography is not just an artistic pursuit; it’s a call to action. Each photograph serves as a visual reminder of the importance of protecting natural habitats, preserving biodiversity, and mitigating the impacts of climate change. By showcasing nature’s beauty, Ernst aims to foster a sense of responsibility and urgency in his audience, encouraging them to take action to safeguard the planet.

Ernst’s work is also notable for its variety. While many nature photographers focus on specific ecosystems or species, he explores a wide range of environments, from forests and deserts to oceans and mountains. This diversity reflects his belief that every corner of the Earth has its own unique beauty and that all ecosystems deserve attention and protection.

In conclusion, Daniel Ernst is a talented and passionate nature photographer whose work captures the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world. Through his photography, he not only showcases the wonders of nature but also encourages viewers to reflect on the importance of conservation. With each image, Ernst invites us to see the world around us in a new light, fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment and inspiring action to protect it for future generations.

Erik Johansson is a photographer and visual artist who creates surreal, “impossible” images. He believes in blending imagination with technical skill, allowing his photos to feel real while adding unexpected twists. He uses real elements but digitally alters them to challenge the laws of nature.

Johansson’s work falls under surrealism, where he plays with how we perceive reality. He emphasizes storytelling, with each image contributing to a larger narrative. His themes often explore how we view the unrealistic aspects of life.

Before taking photos, Johansson sketches his ideas, carefully planning each detail to create a dreamlike scene. His work pushes the limits of photography and encourages viewers to rethink their understanding of reality.

I am interested in Retail Photographer because they shoot at stores and all the products being sold. It does not say any requirements that are needed just that you need good communication skills, and I do believe I am a great communicator.

I am also interested in Jewlery Photography this interested me because jewelry is really nice, and I would have fun taking pictures of it.I do not have all the requirements I would need to learn how to use a drone for this photography as well.

Wassily Kandinsky

Wassily’s work is very creative with all the colors, shapes, and dimensions he uses. The colors he uses makes his work pop out giving it a lot of eye attraction. I like how all the colors and shapes he uses make sense with the art it gives a good dimension to his artwork.

Social & Political Issues in Art

I chose this topic because I feel as people don’t think it’s important to talk about because their just “animals”. This is very wrong because you should never abuse an animal let alone a person. Just because most of the time they cannot defend themselves does not mean you should take advantage of an animal. Animals are very beautiful creatures apart of this world and people just ruin it. I want this to reach everyone so they are all aware that what they are doing isn’t right and should not be able to get away with it.

File Formats Explained

JPEG is short for Joint Photographic Experts Group. It’s a file that has the same compression algorithm to reduce a file size and quality issue. PNG is short for Portable Network Graphics. This supports a high-quality image. Helps keep the transparency good and not lose its exposure. Tiff is short for Tag Image File Format. This stores graphic images, and they store high quality images to avoid losing in a tacky file. RAW is not the standard file system. It cannot be easily accessed by windows and makes it difficult for your drive to be recognized by the operating system.

Photography Basics Review

1. The aperture controls the area where light enters your camera. Shutter speed controls the duration of the exposure. The ISO controls the sensitivity of the camera’s sensor.

2. You would need to change the ISO depending on the exposure you’re in.

3. Aperture and shutter priority allow the photographer to control either one of them while the camera automatically adjusts the settings.

4. AF modes allows a camera function to automatically focus on a subject.

5. A light meter helps photographers determine the correct settings for the image by getting the intensity of the light.

6. White balance is a setting that adjusts the colors in a photo, so they appear more realistic.

7. Depth and Field is the area of an image that is in sharp focus, shallow is mainly blurred and good is very focused.

8. Drive modes help photographers select different ways to capture an image.

9. A setting that allows the photographer to manually adjust their cameras exposure settings.

10. A normal lens is between 35mm to 50mm.

11. Any 24mm and 16mm lens is good for zoom.

12. Wide lenses give more of an expanded view meanwhile telephoto lenses zoom in closely.
